It integrates a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and 3-axis compass, along with an onboard Digital Motion Processor (DMP) that offloads motion processing tasks to enhance system power efficiency. The device supports a wide range of configurations, including programmable full-scale ranges for both the gyroscope and accelerometer. It operates at an ultra-low power consumption of 2.5 mW and features communication interfaces such as I2C and SPI. The ICM-20948 also includes an embedded temperature sensor, 16-bit ADCs, and programmable filters, with full Android compatibility.
